IMPORTANT BRUSH PICK-UP UPDATE Effective immediately, the Town of Long View will no longer collect bamboo as part of our regular brush pick-up service.
Unfortunately, Blackburn Landfill no longer accepts bamboo, making it impossible for the Town to dispose of it through our normal brush collection process.
What are your options?
Residents may rent the Town of Long View Box Truck for $75 per load, and Town staff will haul the bamboo to an approved disposal location.
Please note: If bamboo is mixed in with your brush pile, the entire pile will not be collected. To avoid missed pickups, please keep bamboo separate from all other brush.We understand this may be an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we adjust to these disposal requirements.
